Career

The IPN offers many researchers the opportunity to qualify for their further academic career, be it through a doctorate, a postdoctoral position or a W1 professorship, or in a junior research group. The IPN provides academic staff with the necessary preparation to successfully take the next step in their careers. The IPN is certified as a family-friendly institute and offers infant care in cooperation with the AWO for employees residing in Kiel.

The IPN attaches great importance to the advancement of the next generation of researchers.

Prerequisites for applicants from abroad are a degree with a subject relevant to research at the IPN and the willingness to learn the German language.

Bachelor and Master students cannot study at the IPN, but should contact the University of Kiel.
