Children and adolescents with special scientific talents need a competent promotion in order to reach a level of achievement which complies with their abilities, just as it is an accepted fact in sports or music. By the means of examples from Schleswig-Holstein, which have been tested for many years, it is shown how this promotion can be successful using “revolving door” models, enrichment classes and junior academies.
