Curriculum-based Measurement aims to measure the learning developments of students with learning difficulties reliably and individually and to provide feedback for teaching and support. The online platform www.levumi.de enables free tests and develops support materials. The focus of this article is the conceptual presentation of the tests of the mathematical learning area “Numbers and Operations” by Levumi. This area is based on mathematical competency development models and currently includes tests for the competency sub-areas “number word series and counting”, “reading and writing number symbols”, understanding number relationships”, “number space imagination”, and “arithmetic”. The test overview and the application and interpretation for mathematics teaching are presented below.
