This study deals with chemistry students’ preconditions concerning their expectations and beliefs. Based on a three dimensional research framework, a questionnaire especially for chemistry was developed. The construction of that model depended on different theoretical constructs is described. Furthermore, statistical measurements and first results of the questionnaire, also differences between different study degrees, are shown in this paper.
