The report deals with the activities in the program "SINUS for Primary Schools" which started as a long-term teacher professional training in 2009 and ended in 2013. 872 schools with about 5,500 teachers from 10 German federal states took part, four more federal states participated in associated membership. The paper figures out targets and implementation strategies of the program and includes preliminary results based on the program evaluation.
