This Summer University provides teachers from Schleswig-Holstein the opportunity to discuss the findings of educational research and exchange ideas with academics. Topics of current interest relating to schools, teaching and education will be discussed.

Registration information

The SH Summer University addresses school administrators and teachers of all types of schools in Schleswig-Holstein and is recognized as an in-service training event.

The allocation of participant slots is based on the order of registrations, the registration starts on April 13th 2026.

The conference, including accommodation, meals, excursion and guided tour, is financed by the Schleswig-Holstein Ministry of Education and the IPN apart from a personal contribution of 100 euros per participant.

Travel and venue

The SH Summer University will take place from July 9th to 11th, 2026 at the Sankelmark Academy Center in Oeversee directly on Lake Sankelmark. Visit the academy's website to find out about the venue and how to get there.
