What do you think of the term silver spontaneously? Certainly the silver medal of the sports competition or the silver wedding in the relationship, and otherwise? Silver jewelry? Becomes always black so fast ... Have you ever visited an old silver mine? One of the most well-known silver mines in Germany is in the Harz and it is called Lautenhals luck. It is now a museum and is often visited by school classes and families. More frequently, however, silver occurs cationically in the form of pure or mixed silver salts with, for example, antimony, arsenic or copper. The "pure" copper or lead sulfides are often silver-containing. Examples of pure silver salts are horn silver (silver chloride) or silver gloss (silver sulfide). When you heat silver sulfide in the air, it decomposes and produces shiny silver globules.
