People in today’s world of rapid scientific and technological progress need a solid fundamental education in mathematics, the sciences, and computer science. It is with this need in mind that the IPN’s r Domain-Specific Learning in Kindergartens and Schools research strand explores how learners develop skills in these subjects from elementary through secondary to tertiary education, and considers potential methods of providing them with systematic support as they acquire these competencies.
