Science at School: Students Show Great Interest

"The Rent-a-Scientist program ran from September 20 to 24. 121 scientists visited schools in the Kiel region and organized a lesson during regular school hours. Several scientists from the IPN Kiel also participated in this year's "Rent-a-Scientist" school program and offered a diverse program.

In a short video, Dr. Hanno Michel, a research associate in the Department of Biology Education at the IPN, tells how he experienced the visit to a school in Kiel.

Rent-a-Scientist is a side event of the European Researchers' Night initiative of the European Union, which is carried out within the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions. This year, the project is financed by the Prof. Dr. Werner-Petersen-Stiftung, the Förde Sparkasse and other companies from the region: Provinzial, Wissenschaftspark Kiel GmbH, DIERCK Unternehmensgruppe, Wulff Textil-Service GmbH and Stadtwerke Kiel AG.
