Approved project on multilingualism in math education

December 17th 2021

Empirical evidence has already shown that the inclusion of multilingualism can be effective for subject learning.

But how can teachers be introduced to this language-building approach? In the EU project "Exploiting the Power of Multiple Languages for Mathematics Learning", Prof. Dr. Susanne Prediger will work on this transfer research question in collaboration with project partners from the Netherlands and Norway and engage researchers, teachers and teacher educators in international exchange of ideas accordingly.

Funding for the project is provided by EU Erasmus Key Action 2 with a sum of €76,326 to the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education.
